My Research Interests include

  • Linguistic Competence Among Artificially Intelligent Agents : I am currently working on my masters thesis, involving development of linguistic competence amongst AI based agents. The work involves linking the two hitherto unrelated fields of Game Theory and Decision Theory. We are trying to automate the process of development/enhancement of a common language that the agents can use to communicate with each other.
  • Moving Object Databases : Moving Object Databases have come into prominence with the advancement of cellular technology, palm-devices and GPS systems. I am interested in how one could intelligently process and update delayed-queries in Moving Object Databases.

My Other Interests include

  • Volunteer-Work for ASHA : ASHA is a voluntary organization that believes in generating means to provide basic education to underprivileged children in developing countries like India.
  • Chess : I am a member of the UIC-chess club and i enjoy playing chess in my free time.
